Chelas read me an announcement that seemed ligit, I had already heard wind of it through Facebook rumors. BurningManORG Via Larry Harvey announced that this would be the last Burning Man festival. The possibilities being exploited by the scalpers were extant evidence that commercialism had breached the walls of our fortress of crafty, creative, accepting, surreal, gifting environment.   I foresaw this as a possibility and hope that the final intent has been for quite some time, to disperse the Burning Man ethos to the entire human populations. If so this is a practical dispersal method, riding the natural tragedy-propelled waves of emotion that follow the loss of someone dear. So PLAY kids PLAY!  The Man is going out, send him out in style. Play across the whole world.We all knew it was coming. The end is nigh. The Mayans may have predicted the end of the Calendar, but we all know that it was “Hair” who pointed the way to the age of Age of Aquarius.

I Messed up today! I killed Chelas' website.

Six weeks ago we registered the address mrnobodyspecial.com with JustHost.com .  We, as always, have had nearly every moment taken up by needful things. Chelas and I have an art studio and gallery in downtown Lancaster PA. I have wanted to get something, anything, on my website even something as simple as an under construction page before I finish and send out my business cards to be printed. Chelas has been working on her website chelasisashowoff.com for two years. It is a fabulous site that generated a quarter million hits this year. We bought my website through  her account as they claim that she can host unlimited domains and unlimited bandwidth on it.   ....Just Host Sucks...  We were thinking of changing hosting companies when it came time to renew her account recently as they changed prices and assessed random fees and we did not know at the time how to back up the files to our personal computers (I learned how to tonight). So I tried to set up my new domain with a basic site builder and it somehow built it on both my site and on top of the main page of Chelas' site. All the other pages were left in place but they are no longer connected to the old home page. I'm still unclear as to why it did it this way as i even double-checked that it was only pointed to my site prior to clicking ok to the installation. So now Chelas is way mad at me (with good reason).
