Chelas read me an announcement that seemed ligit, I had already heard wind of it through Facebook rumors. BurningManORG Via Larry Harvey announced that this would be the last Burning Man festival. The possibilities being exploited by the scalpers were extant evidence that commercialism had breached the walls of our fortress of crafty, creative, accepting, surreal, gifting environment. I foresaw this as a possibility and hope that the final intent has been for quite some time, to disperse the Burning Man ethos to the entire human populations. If so this is a practical dispersal method, riding the natural tragedy-propelled waves of emotion that follow the loss of someone dear. So PLAY kids PLAY! The Man is going out, send him out in style. Play across the whole world.We all knew it was coming. The end is nigh.
